ITB CS:GO - 2022 Plans

With our announcement in R6S earlier this week, we're elated to announce that we've concluded a contract extension with our roster. As a result, we welcome back:

  • Adam 'Adam9130' Ahmad

  • William 'Dobbo' Dobson

  • Cai 'Cypher' Watson

  • Kirk 'Tadpole' Stephens

  • Yaroslav 'Isk' Issakov

We also welcome Gustavo 'Juve' Fernandes in the position of coach, and Marvin 'Punico' Matthes as team manager.

The contract is 1 year long with incremental salary increases as our sponsorship contributions increase. ITB operates as a non-profit with the management team taking nothing, so all partnership income is cycled back into player salaries, roster support, community initiatives or charity donations. We couldn't be happier that through the support of our partners, we're able to maintain this roster and give them long-term and consistent support. Huge thanks to: Cooler Master UK (https://www.coolermaster.com/)

Alongside the above, we've several things on the agenda for CS:GO in 2022:

  1. Boot-camps and boot-camp partner to be announced, to ensure our roster access to high quality facilities for training and development.

  2. The return of the ITB Pre-Season tournament, to be announced in February - granting another opportunity for grassroots and upcoming UK players to test their skills, showcase their abilities and win prize-pools while during it.

  3. Re-instating and reinvesting into our CS:GO Community Lead role, who will have an independent monthly budget to do good within the community and bring the extend our positive impact.

  4. Bring over our 'highlight' of the month from R6S, bringing attention to key members of the community who we think deserve more recognition and notoriety.

We hear from our CEO, Sam Macedonio:

"It's been a roller coaster of a few weeks as we sought to accrue additional funding to keep our roster with us. We're very happy we've been able to better our offer against other organizations. Ultimately, we just want what's best for the squad in terms of financial stability, organization support and professional growth. It brings me great pleasure that we can now offer that in a more comprehensive way".

Our captain, Adam, also gave his thoughts:

"We're delighted to be able to resign with ITB and look forward to representing them in upcoming tournaments. We hope that we can continue our development as a team and continue to compete at all levels. Our goal for 2022 is to push onto higher levels in addition to cementing ourselves as a more established team who are no longer seen as underdogs but genuine competitors. In align with this goal, we will be attending the upcoming Copenhagen Games event in April to demonstrate our competitiveness and our ability, not as individuals but as a team".

See you guys on the server, and don't forget to follow twitch.tv/intothebreachtv where we'll be streaming all our games in ESEA Advanced.

Happy NY to all!
